1 Peter 3:15:
"But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect."(NIV)
Christian faith is capable of defense. Three things are to be noted in our defense:
- Set apart Christ as Lord in your heart - have a personal commitment on the part of the Christians.
- Always be ready to make a defense - be ready upon every occasion to give to every one who asks the reason for his/her faith commitment.
- Do it with gentleness and respect - have proper attitude of respect with which the defense is to be made.
